Dr. Nahid Shahrooz, MD

Nahid Shahrooz, M.D., is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. In addition, she has received a Diploma in Dermatology at the University of London, St. John's Hospital, England.

Dr. Shahrooz completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Dermatology at King's College Hospital in London, England. She also completed Dermatology residencies at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and St. John's Hospital in London, England. In addition, she received a Dermatology Fellowship in Urticaria at St. John's Hospital in London. She has participated in several research projects including Urticaria and has authored several articles and lectured in the field of Dermatology.

She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Medical Association, the Indiana State Medical Association, the Marion County Medical Society, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the International Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Dermatology Foundation. She previously practiced on the north and south sides of Indianapolis prior to colocating at IIPS.

She specializes in general. cosmetic, and surgical dermatology for adults, teens, and children.

Dr. Shahrooz provides free skin cancer screenings in the office to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and prevention to continue the fight against skin cancer. She has also designed a Healthy Diet for Healthy Skin program for patients to achieve a healthy lifestyle and youthful-looking skin, with brochures available to patients in the office.
