Dr. Nahid Shahrooz, MD

Nahid Shahrooz, MD, is certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. She previously practiced on the north side of Indianapolis prior to colocating at IIPS.

Dr. Shahrooz earned her M.D. at Mashad University in Iran. She did an internal medicine and dermatology residency at King's College Hospital in London, England. She also did a dermatology residency at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. In addition, she received a Dermatology Fellowship in Urticaria and Allergy and St. John's Hospital in London. She has also participated in several research projects including Urticaria and has authored articles and lectured in the field of Dermatology.

She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Medical Association, the Indiana State Medical Association, the Marion County Medical Society, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the International Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Dermatology Foundation.

She specializes in general. cosmetic, and surgical dermatology for adults, teens, and children.
